This page was designed for dog owners, like us who want to spend time and include their pet(s) into family activities.

We only have cities in FLORIDA listed where we have visited or have lived.  But don't fret, in your community, any park, beach, restaurant (with outdoor tables), etc. has the potential for being just the right place for "Fido" to tag along.  Just make sure you read the signs at all parks and beaches and inquire within restaurants beforehand.  We've found that most restaurants, especially near the coast allow dogs to sit with you at their outdoor tables, providing they are leashed and well-behaved.  Although we try to keep our site up-to-date and information accurate, please verify that your pet is welcome beforehand.

When on an outing or traveling with your pet make sure their Rabies Tag is always around their neck!

Tarpon Springs is on Florida's West Coast and is the sponge capital of the world.  Nearby Honeymoon Island has more than 208 species of plants and a variety of shore birds, including several threatened and endangered species.

FT. MYERS BEACH / SANIBEL & CAPTIVA ISLANDS / NAPLES, FL
Ft. Myers Beach is on South West Florida's Gulf Coast near Sanibel & Captiva Islands and Naples.  Sanibel & Captiva Islands are connected to each other by a bridge over Blind Pass.  Naples in Southwest Florida is the entrance to the Ten Thousands Islands, which beckon fisherman and sportsman from all over.
