KERRY BLUE TERRIER

GROUP:  TERRIER DOGS

The typical Kerry Blue Terrier should be upstanding, well knit and in good balance, showing a well developed and muscular body with definite terrier style and character throughout.  The Kerry Blue makes an ideal house pet.  A natural hunter, a born retriever and a fine herd dog - he is used for these purposes in the old country.  He is not a yapper, and seldom barks.  A Kerry Blue remains playful...a real companion...years longer than most breeds.  Males, 18 to 19 1/2 inches; Females, 17 1/2 to 19 inches.
